Green vs. orange ball event
For 10 and under crowd, you’ll be able to choose from two options: the green ball event or the orange ball event. Which one to should you pick?
Younger kids normally sign up for the orange ball event. Generally kids should play green ball tournaments when they reach the age of 9. Once they are 9, they have a choice to play either orange or green. The bottom line. If your kid is 9 or older, sign him/her up for the green ball event. If the kid is younger than 9, go for the orange ball event.
For the green ball players, you can progress to a yellow ball (regular junior tournament) through green ball play. Green Ball Progression: Green Ball events earn a player 100 pts for participating (limit 5 events) and 100 pts for each singles match win or 50 pts for each doubles win. A player needs 1,500 pts to advance to Yellow Ball events. This tournament will get you points!!
